Carrum Health - Surgical Center of Excellence
Carrum Health – Surgical Center of Excellence is a unique benefit provided to you by AutoNation if you enroll in a Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plan option. This benefit connects you with some of the country’s top surgeons and hospitals for a variety of procedures including knee, hip, spine, and bariatric (weight loss) surgeries. Surgery is FREE for you and your covered dependents when performed at a Carrum Health – Surgical Center of Excellence, except for the 60% medical plan option, which is subject to the the federal minimum deductible for these services.
You and your eligible dependents (age 18+) who are enrolled in a Blue Cross Blue Shield 50%, 60%, 70% or 80% medical plan who need a knee, hip, spine or bariatric surgery will be required to go through Carrum Health. If you get one of these surgeries outside of a Carrum Health – Surgical Center of Excellence, it will not be covered except if you enroll in the 80% medical plan option and go out of-network, which is subject to the out-of-network deductible and out-of-pocket maximum
Onduo – Diabetes Management
Additional support for diabetes management is available from Onduo. Key benefits for you and your family include:
- Access and Supplies: Ages 13+ for Type 1 Diabetes and ages 18+ for Type 2 Diabetes, Onduo provides a welcome kit which includes unlimited test supplies and a free smart glucometer as needed.
- Dedicated Support: You have interactive access through the MyHighmark app, but also a dedicated care lead who will keep in touch and help you and/or your family members manage diabetes. This provides personalized support between your doctor visits.
- Cost and Time: You no longer need to pick up supplies at a pharmacy. With Onduo, your testing supplies are paid for and shipped directly to your door. Saving you both on costs and precious time at the pharmacy.
Mental Wellbeing – Powered by Spring Health
Your mental health matters, and with Spring Health, you have access to a comprehensive and personalized approach to mental wellbeing. Here’s how this benefit supports you:

Using a tablet and wearable sensors, you can connect virtually with physical therapists to get real-time feedback and guidance. And it’s available at zero cost to you and your dependents through Blue Cross Blue Shield 50%, 60%, 70%, and 80% plans.
Sword: Virtual Joint Health – Thrive
This program may be right for you if you’re experiencing discomfort, even if you’re not recovering from an injury and your pain is manageable. It’s for ages 13 and up.
- You get started by meeting virtually with a physical therapist (PT) who designs a program customized to your needs.
- You’ll receive a tablet with motion-tracking technology that guides you through exercises and gives you real-time feedback.
- Your PT follows your progress and adjusts the program as needed.
- You chat with your PT through a program app, via video visits, or on the phone when you have questions
Sword: Virtual Pelvic Health – Bloom
If you have pelvic pain, a bowel or bladder disorder, issues related to intimacy well-being, pregnancy or postpartum, or menopause, this program can offer relief. This program is for women and individuals with vaginal anatomy ages 18 and older :
- You meet virtually with a physical therapist (PT) who specializes in pelvic health conditions.
- They’ll design a program just for you.
- You’ll receive a Bloom kit, which includes an insertable pressure-sensing pod that syncs with a program app that you download. They work together to provide biofeedback as you do your exercises.
Healthcare Bluebook
AutoNation will no longer participate in Healthcare Bluebook in 2025. Please submit any 2024 claims by March 1, 2025, for reimbursement.
