AutoNation offers associates short-term and long-term disability coverage through Matrix Absence Management. Short-term disability benefits begin after 7 days of disability and are available for up to 26 weeks. Long-term disability begins after 180 days of disability.

How is the Benefit Amount Determined?
Your Benefit amount is determined based on your Eligible Pay.

What is “Eligible Pay?”
Eligible Pay is determined once a year and is based on your earnings from the previous year (August 1 through July 31), before taxes and pay deductions. (For example, your 2024 Eligible Pay is based on your earnings from August 1, 2022 through July 31, 2023). If you have not been continuously employed for the full measurement period, a mid-point for your job code will be used.

There are 3 ways to contact Matrix to file a claim: by phone, website, or Mobile App.

  • To file a claim by phone call Matrix directly at: 888-477-5110 or 877-315-9838.
  • To file a claim online you can go to the Matrix eServices website at: http://www.matrixabsence.com. Click “create an account” and follow the on screen prompts.
  • To file a claim by Mobile App, download the Matrix eServices Mobile App from your smartphone or tablet’s app store (IOS or Android). Click “create an account” and follow the on screen prompts.
